Queensland Multicultural Festival 2006

Queensland Multicultural Festival was held on 15 October 2006 at the Roma St Parkland. This is an event held by the Queensland Government to promote the cultural and ethnic diversity in Australia under the name 'Australian multiculturalism' which was first introduced in 1990s. An estimate of 50,000 people came to this event. There were poets, traditional dances, singing, and varieties of foods from different countries.
